That Zepher 5 looks like it's about BT-60 sized. Chunk that tiny plastic streamer in the garbage and get a roll of orange crepe paper. Slap on about 6 ft, or whatever will fit in the tube. It's cheap and works great. Best of all, you can pick out whatever color you want.

I really enjoy your launch reports. They are a highlight of this forum. And your photos are incredibly sharp and vivid. How are you able to launch your rockets AND take such good photos?

Ditto! I enjoy the launch reports too.
Nine in the air? That's a pretty good session.
I have a B6-4 field close by. Between monthly section launches I have to get a few flights out of my system.

Yup, it are. The one one there is about a four footer, and it didn't even appear to slow it down. I bought a roll of orange caution tape ten years ago. Lifetime supply, just like the dog barf.

Thanks, Douglas. I've narrowed it down to the following possibilities:
1. Luck
2. A pretty good camera
3. Brand new launcher batteries
4. Luck
I've got the timing down with the camera so that I'm pressing the launcher button and the camera button pretty much simultaneously. The camera has a pretty decent burst mode, but not as good as my big Olympus. The Sony is just easier to handle. Now it I could just figure out how to get the movies off of it.
I'm hoping to get in a session today since the fields will still be empty. Gotta make hay when the sun shines.
