With the advent of the Quest Q2G2 igniters, clusters are easy and reliable.

A couple of the new designs I am working on will be BP cluster birds.

As a matter of fact, the next one out, the ThunderCat, has a motor mount with a central 24mm tube surrounded by 6 18mm motors for maximum fire and smoke!

Thank you for posting this! NCR's scale kit of the AQM-127A SLAT (Supersonic Low Altitude Target) rocket/ramjet vehicle on page 6 also looks interesting. A scaled-down version with the "cheek" ramjet air intake behind the nose cone tip would make an unusual "pseudo-ducted rocket" model that should create a wider smoke trail.

Matt-

You are right - the Q2G2's are a godsend. I successfully flew my Mighty Katana this weekend for the second time using 1XD12-5 and 7 C6-P. It was great.

I would be up for either version of the Spoil Sport. Never got to buy one when I was a kid, but sure would now!

Send me a a private message and I will mail you a hard copy.

If I was building that kit today, I would add four Estes engine hooks for motor retention. We didn't have a good source for them back when the kit was originally produced.

Is there enough interest to do an updated version for the new NCR? It is one kit I have been considering bringing back.

Does this mean you'd like to sell it? If so, I am interested, PM me.

Default Black Hole Betty?

No, the Black Hole Betty is not coming back, but I intend to have the plans and original decal sheets available in the near future.
