You probably do what I do - press the launch button and then the shutter as soon as you hear the "hiss" at engine ignition. It's always fun to get home to see what you've actually captured.

But 12 flights? Wow, I'm lucky to get four or five up at one session.
Good work!

That's how I used to do it, but my newer cameras all have a burst mode. Unfortunately they all have different burst rates, and they're tough to get used to. Today I was trying to push down on the camera button just before I pressed the launch button, but a couple of times I caught myself with my launch thumb out of position. I may have said filthy words on those occasions. If not, I'll make up for it tomorrow. No cap on those flights. And I'm taking the keychain cam.

Thanks, I enjoy writing them, but the weather didn't hold. I woke up to rain and even though the launch area is 1 1/2 hours north of me, the radar pics couldn't rule out the possibility of rain up there. The idea of three hours of driving to stomp around in the mud had no appeal, especially after yesterday. I'm going to look into going to Muncie next weekend if they'll have me.

Great launch pix. Looks like a fun time. The only flying I got in this weekend was with my micro-R/C Corsair and Mustang. 3 flights each with my girlfriend's 5 year old daughter.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !
