Default Anyone need NARAM hotel reservation?

I may, or may not, be there. General chaos mixed with procrastination. Still, I'm signed up and have hotel reservations. Car is in decent shape, but I only have a handful of flyable rockets (will John - or whoever - from Estes have the new E2X ProSeries available at the field? ).

The main holdup at this point are cat sitters (or rather, cat checker-inners), who have, within the past three days, suddenly moved, or suddenly gotten massive amounts of overtime.

Does anyone need a hotel reservation at this point? That may influence my decision.

Roy,

Bring the cat! Use one of those cat carrying cages that you mount to the roof of your car. An episode of Top Gear featured it.

Estes will not have any staff at this NARAM.

The Pro Series II E2X kits won't be available until August. Still, I believe the new ARF kits and booster are now available. Maybe a hobby shop will be carrying them.

I hope to see you in Aurora.

No HPR is going to hurt this event.
That should now be a REQUIREMENT of any location considered for NARAM.

Jeffyjeep- your problem is that you mentioned this to your doc and asked for their ok.
Tell him/her to give you a GOOD reason why other than 'no way'.

They usually announce it at the banquet on Friday. I've heard Texas, but I don't know where I heard it.

Well, it's official. More complications today, so I won't be going.

This year started out perfectly with me having the time and the funds to do both NSL and NARAM, and has turned out ^@#tty.

Plus, I've flown exactly ONE rocket in 2013 due to rain and schedule conflicts, and I didn't get to launch a rocket on my 45th model rocketry anniversary Tuesday as is my custom.

I'm still trying.

I have the week off work and while living only 30 minutes away by car, a rash of things is trying to keep me from going.

No car

no buses in Geauga County (well they're there, but they only make special runs you have to sign up for.??)

I'm hearing rain all weekend in the local predictions (don't give them any creed, but still)

Some jerk got my SSN and filed a return w/ my name and now a good deal of my funds I thought I would have are tied up in IRS paperwork.

So, if ya see some sweating old man with a back pack with nosecones sticking out of it walking down route 43, stop and give him a lift.

Sheryl, Bruce and I will be there Friday through Monday. Getting ready to leave in about 5 hours. I am ready for some rest after the marathon this past month.

We hope to see many of you there!

There are thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday. Y'all be careful. Thunderstorms and NARAM had not been a good mix...

If I had something I knew you wanted, I'd bet you it is not. I know it is not us (DARS.)
