I'm sold on basswood. I've used it on all of my recent builds. Agreed, it's *much* easier to finish.

I was building this for use at B6-4 Field, so I wasn't concerned about it being heavier. Gotta know your limits. The easier finishing was just a happy side effect.

Do you have a measurement of the body tube length on the Arrow? Or did you just make it long enough to fit the fins and decals?

(Yeah, I really need another rocket on my to do list. )

Thanks, Joe. The photography is pretty run of the mill in real life, but knowing the contortions I have to go through to get what I get I couldn't be happier. Coordination is not a lifelong strength of mine, so using one finger to hold down the launch key, a thumb to push the GO button, all the while holding the camera on the rocket and remembering to press the camera button before the GO button is a pretty big deal.
