I would like to know the year that their headquarters were at that address. And while I'm on that topic, what was the reason for the NAR moving its headquarters all over the place over the years?

Apparently in 1962.

Taking a wild guess at this - getting volunteers to run NAR HQ is the most likely reason. NAR HQ moved to whoever ran NAR HQ, rather than someone quitting their job, selling their house, moving their families, etc. NAR doesn't pay much.

The NAR HQ manager's husband kept moving, so HQ moved when the family moved. After Doris Mayer retired from the position, Marie Stumpe took over, and HQ was in MN for a long time before moving to WI, followed by its move to the current IA location.
