Sorry about the Monarch, it was looking real good. Figures, right?

Dig your launch threads.

The Monarch was a pain. The paint peeled when I took the masking tape off twice, and this was paint that had been dry for several months. Now I gotta do it again.

Thanks Bill...

I was thinking... I'm just guessing offhand, but that nosecone sure looks like the MX missile "Peacekeeper" nosecone...

Is that possible??

Thanks... got a project or two in mind which that cone would be perfect for...

If I fly my Centuri Saucer on a B6-0 or C6-0 it always goes up and lands the same orientation; it never turns over.
If I fly it on a B4-2, C5-0, or C5-3 it always turns over and bounces on the landing legs.
It may be due to the higher initial kick off the pad that the B4 and C5 have with lower sustaining thrust.

Yes, there is such a thing as NORMAL
, if you have to ask what is "NORMAL" , you probably aren't !

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

I've got a ton of B4-2s, so I might have to try that out this weekend. With a C5-3 in reserve, of course.

It is good to know there are other appearances of that cone. Makes it less rare.

You get a cool retro-rocket slow down with the B4-2 and C5-3 too on a saucer. Just be aware it can cause a grass fire if it goes off too close to ground.
