If the MMI Arcon kit is opened (I'm not recommending that you open it if it *isn't* already), I'm not sure if its fin pattern and other particulars are as well-documented as those of the MMI Aerobee-Hi, so this could be a rare opportunity to do just that. I have no idea what MMI's third kit was, so that could be a priceless documentation opportunity as well.

MMI's 3rd Kit was simply a BOOSTER Kit #003, It has 2 Upper & 2 Lower stage engines, 4 Fins, Tube etc., its Complete. I posted Pics a few months ago..... BTW, This is the only one I ever heard of--it is Indeed very Rare and has ALL Paper work MMI had at the time, so this little Kit is a Wealth of Information with in it's self! Danny

I have found in all my MMI stuff---there were so far, 4 Engine Mounts. 1. Styrene 2. Metal Clamp (which my Aerobee has), 3. Balsa Thrust Ring (which ARCON has), 4. Says with Booster Kit that NO Mounts were Available,,, to wrap RUBBER BANDS around engine for a tight fit !!! whew... Danny.

Default What Is The Improvement ???

In this Brochure included with the #003 Booster Kit, Read it !!! How are Rubber Bands wrapped around a motor better than the Styrene Mount they Stopped using ??! Ha, I can understand the Styrene was probably burning & this was all they had at the time,,, But this article was funny & wanted to share,,, Ha. Danny.
