It had that type nose cone, but looked like the one posted as "finless". I keep thinking it was an old SAI kit, but it is not listed in the one catalog posted on line. It was a kit, that I do remember.

Thanks for looking. That is a nice bird. Another build!

Space age industries made a kit called the vulcan, rather short lived. One of the old model rocketry magazines had a picture of it in the trade show review, but I can't remember which issue.

That wasvolume 3 #7(april-May) 1971. Ninfinger site has a link to it . The picture is on page 14 of the pdf file

Sorry Scott I should have been more specific. The link to model rocketry magazine is under the catagory of "Other companies" its down below the estes and centuri catalogs. There is also a similar rocket to the SAI Vulcan called the Candlestick in a issue about two to Three months earlier. Volume 1&2 have an index, 3&4 do not.
