I always liked the looks of the Ramjet but never bought one. I had assumed the ramjet sections were some kind of plastic molded part, but your assembly pictures make it look pretty easy to clone. I'll have to add this to my "maybe pile" of future projects. Thanks for sharing!

And thank you for offering, Sandman. I've been sitting on 3 Sets of your Ram Jet Decals for a while, now. I'm looking forward to the process, as I know they'll go on as smoothly and as paint-like as the Skybolt Decal I've used. I have to Dig Around a bit, but I sure hope I got USS Atlantis decals while available.

Not to hijack but I do have a comment.

Nice build BTW.

The small issue I have is when people get decals from me all I ever see is their real name on the PayPal transaction. I rarely get your Ye Olde screen name.
So, please, forgive my ignorance.

OK, back to our regular programing.

Default Payne's Grey Warsch.

I've forgone Clean & Neat, instead opting for the Muddled Obfuscation of an Oily Wash. I hope I don't regret not leaving at least one of them clean.

Default R.J.s' Further Effectuation.

I tried, for the first time, spraying white decal paper with 2X Rustoleum, and cutting 1/8" accent strips. (2 Winter Gray, 1 Metallic Aluminium) This technique couldn't have worked any better for getting a perfect color match in the tight area under the trailing edges of the fins. I can't wait to try this for other BT bands and stripes.

That technique has worked well for me and saved on some tight masks.

It can leave a little ridge but is usually cleaner than a regular tape mask.

Excellent idea! Makes striping a perfect match to a painted area too, if you need it. I'm building a Sky Hook and wasn't looking forward to trying to mask the lower part of body tube for a black ring under the trailing edge of the fins.
