Default Interesting UPS tracking report

My friend at work showed me this tracking report from UPS. With all the bent, damaged, smashed packages UPS has dropped off at our houses without a word about their condition, we were both wondering how bad this really had to be for UPS to admit it, and not even attempt a delivery

Wish they provided pictures

Wow.....and I was grumbling because my new computer arrived in Portland, left for Seattle and returned to Portland twenty minutes later, then sat there for a day. But it was fine when it got here.

they do that when they completely tear the original box open and dump everything out, so they're left with just cardboard with the original shipping sticker on it

I absolutely detest UPS. In fact, at times I will not order an item if the only delivery option is UPS. If you are a residential customer they will not deliver during the day. But I work lots of afternoons so I am often unavailable at 7 pm when they deliver.

Sometimes they will leave an item on the porch, sometimes not, but there is no way to find out in advance. For some items you can go online and ask them to drop it at one of their office locations, but sometimes, with some packages, they won't let you do that. Again, completely random.

Even if it costs more, I much prefer USPS.

They always deliver on my front door step of my condo in the middle of the day
That said, had a cousin that worked for UPS while in college 30yrs ago.
In the warehouse they used to deliberately play 'football' with packages labeled "fragile".
They also used to deliberately "bootprint" packages.
NEEDLESS TO SAY, I found this practice HILARIOUS to all packages not addressed to ME.
PranX like that are almost as good as a high-stinkkk toilet prank.

Let's not forget the Amazon delivery last week where she left a second package at the end of the driveway....a big old turd with a splash of pee.

That happened with USPS parcels here last year, at the hands (and feet) of the "temporary holiday help." (Ten or more years ago, my order of Jet-X supplies--including ruined fuel pellets--arrived soaking wet [along with everyone else's mail in that shipment] after the parcels got snowed on while sitting on carts out on the ramp at the Anchorage airport; the snow melted when the carts were brought indoors.) I can't, however, find any humor in other people's parcels getting kicked around, because someone paid for them--perhaps as gifts for others. (The FedEx "smooshed package" ads and American Tourister luggage commercials with the gorilla *are* funny, but partly because the situations depicted in them *didn't* happen to actual people's parcels or suitcases.)
