It seems to me that it did.

I was kind of disappointed to take a closer look at it on JimZ, and discover that they were (apparently) just fiber board circles, IIRC.

This is what I meant. They don't look like flat discs in this picture.

Yeah, that's the photo I remember.

(heavy sigh) But then again, the Centuri Quasar looked like it had a curved boattail in the catalog...

...instead a paper transition like in the instructions on JimZ:

I gotta git in here more often

Sounds like a great use of the Deuce mount. I think you will be *very* pleased with the results.

Here's another picture of a Deuce launch

but NOTHING beats the 38mm Deuce that Carl Tulanko built...

You should also be aware that FlisKits is hosting a "Deuce Bash" contest where the only firm rule is that the Deuce engine mount be used in the design. This design certainly qualifies!

You can get more information by following this link

First prize is a $50 FlisKits Bucks gift certificate, a Deuce's Wild! kit and two motor mounts.

The contest ends on 31-May, but you still ahve time

Good luck on the upscale and be sure to keep everyone posted!

I'd feel a little funny entering an existing design in a contest. Are you sure this would work? It's a straight upscale of the USS Atlantis.

That's what I figured. I may be an original, but my building talents are strictly public domain.
It should still be a cool bird.
