I make short work of scraping in the shape of the ailerons.

Now for the hard part: scraping in the main wings.

The forward mounting tab that registers the winglet to the wing is going to get scraped off nearly completely during bevelling, so I'll scarf it off now so it won't be in the way. I'll fill the empty forward hole on the side of the winglet after mounting them.

Laying the Corian board across my Herculean thighs once more, I scrape the first bevel into the leading edge of the main wing.

So far so good.

Now I've scraped both sides of the leading edges of both main wings.

Time to watch the Cubs/Rockies game. Go Cubs! Good night.

Maybe next year.

Time for some Scotch.

I've now glued the shaped ailerons to the main wings. I've braced them straight with scrap balsa and clothespins.

Hopefully "The Vixen" won't realize that there's (4) clothespins missing from her prized possessions when I ring the laundry bell.

C'mon noww...you can't say you were watching the Cubs expecting them to win a crucial game.

With the one year exception, they disappoint almost as precisely as the cleveland browns.

It's sort of a love/hate relationship and it's been going on for many years. The first time I was at Wrigley Field was before it had lights and Harry Caray was slobbering into the mic. HOLY COW!

At least the pre-championship Cubs fans aren't bandwagon jumpers. It annoys me to no end to see sudden fans of a team they never cared about. We got tons of new Cubs fans a few years ago. Now they are all Astros fans. Probably the same folks/families that suddenly became Indians fans the year they made it to the WS vs the Braves. I wonder what orchestral cart they will belly flop into this year?

Back to Jayhawks: Their football team su....oh....JJ, your fins look great!

Thanks! As for the Cubs, I’ve endured a lot of terrible seasons with them, but some of the stellar personalities still made being a fan worthwhile. Dawson, Sandburg, Grace, Maddox, Sutcliffe, Sosa, et al.

I have NO problem with winning teams getting an increased fan base.
People that continue to support perpetual losers (Cleveland browns fans) are the illogical ones.
