Orion-Little Joe III flies! (links)
Hello All,
The Orion-Little Joe III vehicle was launched from LC-46 at Cape Canaveral this week, supporting a perfect transonic abort test of the Orion LAS. (The vehicle was not actually named "Orion-Little Joe III," but the booster's paint scheme certainly looked like that of the Apollo-Little Joe II vehicles. Who knows, maybe the Christmas Estes catalog might include a new scale kit...? :-) ) Below are links to articles, pictures, and videos of this vehicle: https://spaceflightnow.com/2019/07/...et-for-tuesday/ https://spaceflightnow.com/2019/07/...-status-center/ https://spaceflightnow.com/2019/07/...e-moon-flights/ https://spaceflightnow.com/2019/07/...ght-abort-test/ https://spaceflightnow.com/2019/07/...r-instructions/
