Well, that certainly is........interesting.

I never have understood the attraction that these things seem to hold for the Japanese (?) guys who worship kooky configurations like transforming robots/trucks, or battleship/spaceships, or any of the other fanciful fiction figures.

That said, you look like you are off to a great start at designing something that will actually look like the cartoon ship, and will fly correctly.

(These comments are sent to you from a guy who still has not given up on making Luke Skywalker's Snow Speeder work with lowpower motors and rear ejection.)

I'm always up for a challenge.

The snow speeder looks nearly impossible... just to darn short. Rear eject would be no issue.

Thanks for commenting.

Failure may not be an OPTION, but it is ALWAYS a POSSIBILITY.
ALL systems are GO for MAYHEM, CHAOS, TURMOIL, FIASCOS, and HAVOC !

Primer & Paint...
1st coat: Rustoleum Gray Primer,
2nd coat: Rustoleum Rusty Metal Primer,
3rd coat: Rustoleum Gloss White
Then:
sanded the white for a worn look,
applied black Sharpie to the windows and air vents,
applied blue Sharpie,
sanded the blue,
applied Acetone to the blue to smooth and lighten the color out.

Put a couple D12-5s in the engine positions of that snow speeder, epoxy a launch lug on it and just launch it.
NO extra fins, NO CG check, and NO stinkin' swing test. Just BLASTT OFFF !!!
And NO stinkin' safety code either. Let 'er rippppp !
