The prices of motors back in the day makes me want to cry. I know everything is relevent. When I started flying about 1972, the local hobby/sports store stocked Estes motors. The "Diamond" packs sold for about $1.25 for "A"'s, $1.50 \for "B"'s, and $1.80 for "C"'s included was three astron igniters that you folded and tamped in place with wadding. My first recollection of the "Mighty D" was actually the D12 and it sold for $2.99 a pack :-)
Of course gas was about 50 cents a gallon although I dont recall a gallon of milk or loaf of bread.

Darn

Getting Old !

D'oh! Yes, B4. I was thinking MPC (B3). As for the length, I had a 50-50 chance on 2.25" vs 2.5"

If I'd'a updated my own website with the intended old motor pics, I coulda just looked there to get the length
