Default New Quest Offerings - Maybe?

I saw the news regarding the new Quest Future Launch Vehicle here on YORF. I also noticed on the Quest site that they are introducing another new kit, the MLAS SPORT SCALE Model Rocket in November seen here: http://www.questaerospace.com/itemd...ic=3014&eq=&Tp=

Then I was doing some web browsing and found these two offerings (the Quest Big Dog and Xcalibur) referenced on A2Z Hobbies here: http://www.a2zhobbies.com/Quest/Skill_4/

Both of these rockets are big skill level 4 kits, both listing the engines as D18-4 and D18-7. As far as I know neither engine is currently being produced.

I've been hoping for a while that Quest would start producing some bigger and more powerful rockets. However since neither of these two offerings are referenced on the Quest site and the engines don't exist yet, I'm wondering if these are for real.

Old stuff from the era when they were planning an 18mm composite D18 motor and kits to go with the motors.

If that's the case it's too bad. I'd like to see Quest come out with a few bigger rockets and both of those looked pretty good to me.

I did post a question through the 'contact us' feature on the A2Z website asking if the kits were for real but I haven't heard back.

Several months ago, in a thread on YORF about the Quest E & F motors, Bill Stine stated that the Big Dog kit would be modified with a 29mm motor tube to use the E & F motors. He also stated that the boxes for the Big Dog kit had been damaged in shipping.

I asked Bill about the Xcalibur kit but he never answered.

Thanks for the info Bob. It looks like there just may be life in one or both of these models yet.
