My posting was just agreement of the previous posters with emphasis on closer to $1K.
The clothing the supposed "rocketeers" are wearing is even more worthless NOW than it was then. GAWD AWFULL !
Just seems even more hideously atrocious now.

hmmm. I've got all of those, in either Centuri, Estes-branded, or Semroc versions, except the Swift and the T-Bird. Three of them are built, and two of those are Centuri originals (SST Shuttle and Orion are Centuri, Taurus is Semroc).

Yeah, but do you have the plaid pants to complete the ensemble?

I used to have the sideburns in the 70's when I still had hair. I still have the plaid pants, but I only break them out for Halloween parties (when I dress up as a golfer.)

My nephew once asked me "Uncle Jeff, what happened to your hair?"

I replied:

"Well Scott, it was shot off in the war".

p.s. Thanks for all the help on the Orion. I'll probably finish it when I get home from OK this weekend. My wife is painting the red details as I'm writing this, and using bad language (probably.)

Well, he said mint in box, and in that condition, I'd say close to $2,000 is probably not too far off the mark. Little Joe ii's have gone for $500 easy just by themselves in that condition, and a Orion just went for $407 this past Sunday night still shrink wrapped.

I just paid $115 for a t-bird in an unopened package.

Something tells me you still wear them. of course, if you're trying to keep your kids away, they can come in handy

The frightening thing is, yes, somewhere I do.

Of course, I'd never be able to wear them now, so we're all safe.
(those of you with access to my Facebook page know where the photo is of me in '73 wearing those very pants. )

edit: hmmm... My plaid-panted photo seems to have gone missing. Funny how that happened...
