Sandman sells (or at least did sell) a really nice BT-56 upscale of the Constellation.

Besides Sandman's upscale (which is listed but shown as out of stock) there's the Semroc xKit in the original size.

August?! Has it really been that long?
Well, I got motivated after Christmas and finally got around to finishing this. I had my doubts about how the pods on the ends of the fins were going to look after sanding and sealing, but the primer and paint disguise all manners of ills. If I get a weather window this weekend, I'm hoping this one will join some others for a B6-4 Field launch. Rumor has it that I have a camera, so pictures are possible.

That came out looking very nicely.

I have a Centuri Honest John whose only original part is the nose cone, which I've kept since I bought (but never flew) the kit around 1972. It is currently "in filler." I hope the result turns out half as good as the Constellation!

I think I'm going to need to print off another Estes logo. This one is a bit less opaque than I'd like and doubling it up should take care of that.

I have to say that is a very nice restoration of one of my favorites, Bill! The Constellation is just good-lookin' and got my attention at age 12. It became my 4th or 5th rocket I ever built and was a mainstay of my 'fleet.' It went to every launch.

My brother lost it when I went off to college...

I have one someone gave me in sad shape, so I'm out of excuses! Soon as I finish restoring that Quasar...

Went ahead and bought the Semroc X-kit. If it comes out half as nice as the 'fish's, I'll call it a succsess.

Again, that is a nifty looking rocket. Nice work.

Love it Bill!

The Constellation and the Sprint are my two favorite old Estes models.

And yes I even have a Goony of each.

The Goony version is the "Constipation".

I have an original X-Ray rocket. If it uses the same NC and Payload, I'll clone the Constellation.
