That "long snoot"/Recruiter nose cone looks absolutely HIDEOUS on a Firefly, period !

I'm with you Al. The right kind of paint scheme and that would look pretty cool.

LOL!!! No sugar coating needed there, either!

I'm thinking that the top stage looks kinda Buck Rogers/Flash Gordon 1930ish.
I'll have to dig up an old still from the Buck/Flash series.

Nothing quite says ugly better than "Hideous", although "Ghastly" or "Horrendous" are good, colorful adjectives too !

That's exactly what I thought when I saw it - retro .

Sort of Disney Voyage to the Moon or similar 1950's .
