How did you manage to do that with the larger image that you see when you hit the thumbnail?

It's just a crappy old version of ACDSee that messes everything up. In my shop I use an old Dell Latitude D630 laptop. And messing with pictures is not its forte. :) And its a terrible iPhone picture.

But it's a Strega. Man I want to build so many other Barclone designs. Just need the time.

I'm bumping through these old posts with some renewed interest.

Jeff, did you ever get your build of the Strega to fly? Is it yet in primer, anyway? :D

It did. And fell prey to the only A10 I have ever had fail

Ouch!

I won't ask how bad the booster looks now, with that obvious burn hole in the side...

What about the upper stage? It staged just off the rod it seems, so did it receive much damage on impact? Fins or tube crunch?

Model looked great, though. Hope you're able to salvage something and build a new booster for it.

The booster was a burnthrough the sustainer was crumpled and a fin gone, another broken in half.
If you launch rockets, yer gone lose a few.

Or, "Loosing one is a good excuse to build another!"

You did a good job in the build. Aside from the motor issues, it looks like it would have flown well. If you decide to try it again, please post pictures (and maybe even a build log).
