Nice flights! It's hard for me to judge the size of your gliders without seeing somebody hold one. Can you post a size estimate and your motor selection for the models?

The smaller models are all around 39 to 45" long and 20-30" wingspan depending on the design.
Here are two with the bomarc and ALCM with a person next to them for example.

They are designed to fly on the 24mm Aerotech E-6 RC reload(or the E-7 or D-7 for lower altitude)

The X-15 is 72" long and flies on the 29mm G-25 motor for the 120 hp case. It is shown next to a standard closet door for size...

Here is a new video with five flights all using a single lipo 450mah battery directly to the AR-400 receiver powering two hs-55 servos. Worked great and I was able to remove 1/2 ounce in general as well as getting rid of the cost of the bec and 2s batter, the 1s battery is only around $8. Six flights this morning only took 25mah out of the battery.

Includes the X-2, X-15, SR-71, F-106 and InteR/Ceptor

Where is the glide CG on the X-15?

Boost cg is 3/16" behind where the wing leading edge intersects the fuse. Post boost glide will be 5/8 to 3/4" ahead of that.

Ok, I'm thinking about a FF version in a smaller size, and obviously that sequence won't work. Good to know, in any case, and obviously an IMPRESSIVE flyer!

You could always have the tail surfaces flip up for glide trim in a free flight model.
