One of my 'hobbies', if you can call it that, is wine. About 10 years ago I stumbled (no pun intended) upon a Califonia red called 'Le Cigare Volant' put out by Bonny Doon Vinyards.
The story behind it is that back in the mid 50's, amidst a rash of flying saucer, or 'flying cigar', sightings the village council in one of the major wine producing regions were worried that one might land in the vinyard and damage the crop. So an ordinance was passed prohibiting any such landing, and craft and crew were to be hauled off to the pound should such an offence occur. So, after seeing the lable (below) I couldn't resist. Turns out, it' a very good wine - the 97's were outstanding. It was cheaper back then , $20.00 or so, but even now at around $26.00 it's quite good So if your looking for a special occasion wine, as well as a conversation piece, and enjoy a nice , dry red wine, give it a try.

Disclaimer: I have no connection whatsoever with Bonny Doon, flying cigars, aliens, etc.
