I'd like to anounce Red Rover Rocketry's newest kit - P-Chuter Xtreme!

Designed to fly on E, F, and G motors, this model stands 41 inches tall and 1.84 inches in diameter. It includes an 18 inch rip-stop nylon parachute, an ejection baffle, and an ample payload section. This model has laser-cut through the wall fin-attachment. It's motor mount has fin tab reinforcement designed with power in mind.

Ya just couldn't resist, could ya... ;)

By the way, I flew the "PCX" on an F50-9 last Saturday. I Almost had to get a neck brace - It leaped off the pad so quick, and almost flew out of site...
It's time to start putting an altimeter in the payload section to verify RockSim. Methinks the software is understating the altitude a bit ;) I did get a nice walk in, though ;)

There's nothing like putting a hot motor and an efficient design together ;)

Talk about a perfect setup! The opportunity was just too good to pass up (just like your kits! ;) )

Tell me about it; that concept brings up memories of my youth spent in Detroit in the 1960's! :D

Maybe you should rename it the GTO, or the Charger! :p

"But think of where it's been..."

Oh, yeah! Include decals that look like passport visa stamps, but they are from places like The Sound Barrier, The Stratosphere, The Edge of Space, Einstein's Universal Constant, etc.

Other ideas:

P-Chuter TUA (Tour of the Upper Atmosphere)...
P-Chuter XLR8...
P-Chuter XS...
P-Chuter X3M...

You get the idea. ;)

Have your people call my people and we'll do lunch.

I don't remember seeing any motor retention mechanism. Did you use friction fit ?

Hmmm... Let me think about that for awhile. I need to see how well PCX sells before committing to a PCXX :p
