How do I upload pix from my computer desktop?

So, I'm a relative dummy at this. What is the procedure from pulling pix off of the desktop and inserting them in a post?

Scroll down to "Additional Options", and click the "Manage Attachments" button. From the window that opens, choose your file(s) from your PC and then "Upload".

This will attach the image to the bottom of the post.
