Can we get a single thread full list of 3D printing companies that cater to our hobby, and maybe list the type of printing and plastic? I can think of three, but I know that there are more. If you post something that needs to be added and I don't get it edited into the list after a few days, remind me with a PM.

Companies that do 3D printing for Model Rocketry

Boyce Aerospace Hobbies (https://boyceaerospacehobbies.com/) (DLP resin)

eRockets/SEMROC (https://www.erockets.biz/) (Prusa 3D printers - FDM and SLA)

Shapeways (https://www.shapeways.com/)

Galactic Manufacturing (https://galacticmanufacturing.com/) (Form 2, Form 3 SLA resin printers)

Really Koo Stuff (https://reallykoostuff.com/)

Rocketship Games (https://reallykoostuff.com/) (micromaxx)

Space Crafter eBay Store (https://www.ebay.com/str/spacecrafter?_trksid=p2380057.m570.l113337) (See this thread for description of her services.) (https://forums.rocketshoppe.com/showpost.php?p=262796&postcount=8)

NewWay Space Models (http://www.newwayspacemodels.com/) (micro models and some parts)

Companies that host Model Rocketry 3D files for personal printing.

That was the main one I was trying to think of!

David Koo’s Soviet N-1:

I have not started mine, but the N-1 is beautifully printed! A Soyuz is coming soon, as well as a BUNCH of cool (koo) stuff!
Check his page out. I’ve seen his custom creations on Facebook, but I did not realize they were coming out. (I told him he needed to kit them, and apparently plenty of others did also.)

Anyone have any other sources of 3D printed parts or kits? It would be nice to get a full list stickied to this subforum. Hopefully the list will grow as our sources of classic kit parts dry up.

I believe Rick at NewWay still has/sells 3D printed micromaxx rocket kits and some 3D printed parts.
I may be wrong, but I think what he carries is eRockets/Semroc 3D parts.

Does Thingiverse do the parts?

I have bought some 3D printed tail cones from Jack Hydrazine.
I think Thingiverse is a place to share files for doing your own 3D printing, but I may be wrong.

I know Jack does a lot of work putting things into printable files, but I believe he just sells a few items to his friends, right? If he has an eBay presence or website, I'd love to add it.

I 3D printed my square micro rockets myself. I use printed nose cones in a few of the square kits. I have a variety of 3D printers. I really haven’t done any round 3D parts yet. I’m not sure my printers are good enough quality. The square 3D cones sand easily because of the flat sides. I’m planning on trying to print some round parts, just down the road a bit. ERockets have Prusa 3D printers both FDM and SLA type.
