If you need 3D parts for making an MRC Concept II Trailblazer that is compatible with Estes tubing you can find it here.

If you need the parts with the original dimensions that are compatible with the tubing from the kit you can download the parts from here.

Wow, that's neat! The tubing in the kit was unique to that one kit, I wonder how much money MRC lost on that? Still, it's nice to have the designs, just have to make your own mandrels, then roll your own tubes.

If Carl was still around, he might have contracted out custom tubes!

I did post another one that will fit the MRC tubes.

What nose cone should be used for the Estes version?

No nose cone in that set. I went ahead and downloaded the MRC sized set which did include the nose cone. At worst I can just scale it to fit in the slicer. But was hoping I wouldn't have to do that.

Just finished up my version of the Trail Blazer. Used basswood on the main fins and built up the second stage fins. Played around with making the fin attachments using my 3d printer. Not to scale but helps give it a scale like appearance. Also made a 3d printed stand. Will be posting the 'accessory kit' to Thingiverse soon.

Made this model originally back in the 90s. Was nice to build it again.

You did a great job on it. Planning to fly it anytime soon?

Can't fly in the city I live in (they don't allow drones either) but found out one of the guys in our church has a farm. We are going to try and get together one weekend and see if we can't make something happen.:chuckle::chuckle::chuckle:
