Check out at you local craft store, Design Master floral spray paint, according to the can info, it can be used on styrofoam.

The only setback, it is very pricey ($7.79 can)

Anyone have any experience with this paint ??

Any Acrylic will be fine over Styrofoam, Doc. It's just that the spray Acrylics Do get rather pricey!

I had used Design Master years ago, and had no problem with it. Apply in light coats.

The Design Master paint works fine on styrofoam. In my experience it goes on pretty light and doesn't cover very well, however.

Another paint is latex spray paint, like the Krylon H2O. Some have expressed their disdain for it, but it works well on styrofoam without eating it.

I have been trying to think of a nice durable coating for the blue insulation foam.

I could turn some pretty nice nose cones for a BT-101 to go along with Uncle Mikes's motor mounts.

I've thought of finishing epoxy or even a thin resin.

Any other ideas???? :o
