I have a like new package of A10-0T booster engines that I would like to trade for some
B14-0 booster engines.

A10-0T's for B14-0's....c'mon now.

B14's have not been available new since about 1979, A10-0T's were available until fairly recently and some sources still exist if you look hard enough.

On a purely impulse basis 1 B14-0 equals 2 A10-0Ts.

From a value/rarity basis the value of 1 B14-0 is equal to at least 10 (if not more) A10-0T's

I'd be REALLY surprised if anyone would be willing to part with one for the pack of A10-0T's you have, but you never know....somebody other than me may be hoarding some they are willing to part with.

Sometimes you may find them for sale or someone may be willing to trade other rare engines such as the following example of one Cox 18mm D8-3 for 2 Estes/Centuri B14-5's, etc.

I wasn't sure what they were worth and I thought I would give it a shot :D
Wasn't sure if I would even get a response. I would be willing to trade the pack for 1. While were talking history of engine's how old are the D13-0's and are they still around anywhere?

The D13-0 was replaced by the D12-0 way back in 1971 !!!!

The entire D13 line (which was known as the D13-kaboom due to the high rate of CATOs) was replaced by the D12-3,5,7,& 0 that we still have now sometime in late 1971.
I know it was sometime in 1971 due to the fact that I have both D13's and D12's that have 1971 date code stamps.

D13's are now strictly collectors items & I'd be really surprised if anyone would even attempt to fly one (because of the almost certain CATO) under the NAR's OOP motor testing program.

Thanks for the history lesson.

I am not a collector so I have attempted to fly 3 of them under the NAR OOP motor testing program.

Both of the D13-5's worked perfectly in a Goblin clone and screamed off the pad much faster than a D12.

The D13-3, however, had a blowthrough 50 ft off the pad and sent a big fireball through my Rubicon.
