Commanche3

Flew my upscale pop-n-go Commanche3 yesterday and it flew alot better than I expected. It went nearly out of sight on just 2 stages D12-0 to D12-7. I'll have to find a bigger area to do the full D12-0 to D12-0 to E9-6. 140% upscale it's 57 1/2" with it's booster's and the sustainer is 49 1/2" based on a BT-56 tube and basswood fins

Here it is naked in all it's glory

And next to it's baby brother

Very cool! Nice looking upscale.

Do you have any altitude projections on the upscale Commanche3 when using all three stages? If it's almost out of sight on just the two D stage flight I'm wondering if you would even see the ejection when using all three D, D and E stages.

No not really I don't have RockSim. I sent all the info to somebody and hadn't heard back from them yet. I have flown my Rip Roar on the same motor combo and I know there's a big differance in drag but the Commanche was all together in a different part of the atmosphere. If my scale is correct both the Commance and the Rip Roar weigh the same 4oz.
