The most recent Estes catalog on Sven's site is from 1998, and of the earlier catalogs 1965 is missing (was there one?).

Is Sven still accepting submissions?

Anybody think we should mount an effort to supply scans of the missing catalogs?

Steve,

I thought the 1965 was delayed and made its way out as the 1966. There is a 1966 version with a 1965 copyright and there is the rare 1965 'test' catalog that is very hard to come by. Mojo was selling one a earlier this year. Perhaps he has more?

There was no 1965 catalog. It was so late (since it was their first "big-time" catalog) that they just designated it as the 1966 catalog (but the number was still 651).

I'd really like to see the missing catalogs scanned in. I use the site all the time, from looking up kit numbers to just browsing through rockets I had as a kid.

I receive periodic blast emails from Sven or whoever mantains the site. I must have signed up to receive them on the site at some point. Anyway the latest just came in today and references updates that were made to various model pages.

Since updates are being made I expect it might be possible to have the catalog pages updates as well.

QModeling has scans of quite a few of the Estes catalogs here (http://www.qmodeling.com/QModeling/The-BAR.htm), including the 2005, 2006 and 2007 catalogs.

Also, I have a scan of the 2004 Estes catalog (introducing the new military kits like the Patriot and the BLU-978 Cluster Bomb, among others; also where the 220 Swift and the 2-stage Renegade make their first appearances) that I must have downloaded from somewhere awhile ago. I will be be glad to send a copy of this PDF file to anyone who might be interested.
