If you can't find one, you might recreate it using the instructions here:

Yes- I can help you. I have the still sealed Estes Bomarc #0657. Make me an offer I can't refuse.
Thanks.

Cary,

Is this the gliding Citation version or the later version that descends under chute?

I think Greg flew one at one of our Ark-La-Tex Model Rocket Club launch (the gliding version)
once. I remember the recovery portion was rather scarey. I later found and purchased the
Bomarc kit (both the larger version and the 13mm Mini-Brute Canadian version) at some hobby store before they went OOP; I still have them "in-the-bag" awaiting assembly. Don't
think I'll be parting with them :( ....sorry.

Damn! I built a mini-Bomarc during my first round of model rocketry as a youth. I can say that model and my USS Andromeda were the two best builds I completed as a kid. I never got to fly either of them, and I don't know what happened to them.

Yes, that Mini-Bomarc is a hell of a kit!

This is the chute recovery kit. I have never seen nor owned the gliding version. I do know that it existed though. Any clue as to what year it was released? I also have the mini-bomarc #805 available.
Thanks for you question.

According to my handy-dandy Estes kit list I see it was available from 1972-1977. I also just noticed it actually had a different kit number, #0654 or KC-5.

I just bought and received one of these: :)

I know it's not an Estes but I heard good things about it and when I received it I found it to contain all high quality parts. Can't wait to get started on it and put her up. :D

SkyCopp is doing a build thread on it here.

I will join in or do one myself as well when I get started.

Hi Motley. Who am I speaking to? Ok here is the deal. The #0657 recovers with a parachute, and the #805 has a parachute recovery also.
Which one are you interested or inquiring about?
