I found this was interesting enough to waste money on,'cause you never know when you need to loft some eggs. Looks like it uses 2 "D" batteries...

pretty decent find since it's been OOP for 10 years. Not sure of its egg-lofting capabilities though.

I have one in the box... I opened it last year when I was considering using it in competition. I learned real fast it was way to heavy for that...

Ah,that Omloid wouldn't be my first choice for performance,but as an oddity,sure. I also picked up a Spitfire,to my knowledge only available in the Mega Maxx starter set. An unopened kit,from an opened kit-now that's ironic. I might use the nose cone and body tube on another Screaming Eagle. I thought American-made and in a box would be collectable but I passed on a Big Dawg, Mach 12,Astro Sat LSX and a Venus Probe,but that recalled X-15 starter set is interesting...
