This particular model has in the past been converted to fly with a little effort. An article on modifying the original kit by Randy Emmerling, "Monogram Colonial Viper Plastic Conversion" can be found in the January, 1979 issue of "Model Rocketeer".

Is there anyone who has this? If so is there anyway to get a copy posted here or send to me?

Possible for you to scan and post it? I have one of those models buried somewhere deep in my 'kit room'..;)

I was lucky. I inquired on the PMC rocket group and it was posted by Dave Fitch http://groups.yahoo.com/group/PMC-ro...CONVERSION%20/

My thanks to Dave for sharing this with use all.

Sorry about the link. I posted the same message over on TRF and the link worked there . this is a fairly easy PMC. I did it the first time the article came out.

Now, the big quest to find the model begins!:chuckle: At least I THINK it is in the 'kit room'..If not, I can just order another one from Hobbylinc, which will mean that about 10 minutes after submitting my order I will find the model here in the house..LOL..

Go a head put that order into Hobbylinc. You will need a few spares in case of the BIG PC. (Plastic Crash) also sometimes call PD. (Plastic Death).
