Hey,

I am trying to clone an Estes Patrol Cruiser Excalibur. It calls for BT-3XW. Could you please tell me what size tube this is by todays standards? The part number is also used on BT5, it is 30301. Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi;

The BT-3XW found prior use in kit #1298 X-Wing Fighter (it's where the 'XW' designation suffix comes from) and is 1.5" long, with an OD of 0.375". The rest of the tubes for the Patrol Cruiser Excalibur can be found on page 12 of the Estes Body Tube/Kit Reference, http://www.rocketshoppe.com/info/Estes_Body_Tube_List_3.1.pdf

Hope this helps!

We (FlisKits) have the BT-3 in various sizes that can be found here. (http://www.fliskits.com/products/rocketkits/micromaxx/mmx_body.htm)

You would have to cut it to length though. It is the correct OD
