As I start looking at the Delta IV specifications, I see something 'werry innerestink'...
The diameter of the core is 16.4'...
So, ST-16 would be exact 1/12 scale for this model (1" = 1') with its dimension of 1.64"...
We WILL cross 700 before July 20... :D

I believe that's 1:120 scale... If 1" = 1' then the tube would be 16.4" in diameter not 1.64".

Sigh. That's what happens when I try to think late at night... :o
The scale is 1" = 10'...
Thanks!

I know what you mean. I've done some really great coding when I was tired then had to tear it out later due to some obvious flaw in my logic.

The funny part is that it made sense at the time...

What's funnier is that even Mario's correction needs a tweak...
For the tube to be 16.4" in diameter, the scale would have been 1:10 (1.64" x 10 = 16.4").
What I was looking at was the 5m diameter of 16.4 feet, and the ST-10 diameter of 1.64 inches.
So, what we have here is 1.64 inches equals 16.4 feet. Or, 1" = 120" (10'). As Mario brought out, the correct scale is 1:120...

That's what I get for doing any math early in the morning...

Late at night and early in the morning are two different things! I do my best work late at night (before sleeping.) My mental ability is severly limited early in the morning (after sleeping.)

My mental ability is severely limited whenever I'm awake... or asleep.
