I recently acquired an Estes Command Control Launch Controller.

But it came with no instructions and no box.

Is there a downloadable set of instructions somewhere for this? If there are no instructions anywhere, can someone please explain what all the lights mean on this controller? I charged the two 7.2 volt batteries. They are not easy to put into the unit. Maybe the instructions explain this. The unit seems to work. I get continuity.

Thank you for any help.

I have a .pdf of the instructions but they are on the home pc. If no one else chimes in with them before then, I'll look for them tonight. The lights in the middle are just a battery power meter.

Thanks DaveR.

All lights on must mean the batteries are at 100% then I guess.

Any hints on how to get the batteries and cables to fit inside easy?

Is there a special charger to charge the batteries without removing them from the controller?

I've got a couple of these and understand your frustration with the wires and terminals. The best advice I can give you is to go the your LHS and replace the standard connectors with Deans connectors. You'll be able to cut the wire to the lengths you desire and the Deans connectors are far better than what Estes has provided and what you'll see in your average 7.5 v battery.

Sorry for the delay. I had a little trouble locating the file. Anyways, here ya go....

I really don't have a problem with the connectors, it's kinda tight but they'll slip out of battery compartment and into the case itself then the batteries just snap in. YMMV
