Is there a way to create ring fins cut at an angle in RS9?

No there isn't..One way to 'fake it' is to use 'sets' of fins(say 3 or 4) to represent the tube fins so the shape is approximated..Like Layne did in the Kraken file attached...

There is another way to "fake it", from an appearance pov, but I haven't been able to duplicate it yet. TVM described it to me, but I'm doing something wrong. It involves a transparent JPG image wrapped around the tube, where the opaque area represents the tube you want to see, and the transparent area "masks out" the part you don't want.

This doesn't help in the calculations, however, since you have to use a much larger ring to get the visual effect... :(
