I've been getting many requests from people looking to buy a set of Danny Sagstetter's Rocketeer Collector's Journal. There are thirteen issues total in the set. Below is his correct, updated address so you can get a set for yourself. I got my own set a number of years ago and there's lots of great info in there.

He will sign all issues for free if requested.

I have the complete set now. Mr. Sagstetter was really nice and he mailed me the missing issue, so now I have the complete set.

Apparently the reason why he had stopped with the journal was due to the place he worked out of was broken into and damaged. So I was sad to hear that. The information in the journal for any collector or historian that loves this hobby, I think would love the information.

He did a great job with the journal.

SAME BAT TIME... SAME BAT CHANNEL!

The answer is yes he is still at the same address and stilling selling the journal. Just follow the instructions that you quoted, and within a couple of weeks, you will find his journals in your mail box. Very informative and worth the costs.

This thread hasn't had an update for quite awhile.

Assuming this is still an active offer, does anybody know if Danny is accepting Paypal as payment for a set of his Rocketeers Collector's Journal?

Thanks,
P

I'd appreciate it, Earl. Find out if he's still selling this set and what the current cost is. If so, get his new address from him so I can update the info. I'll delete the thread if he's no longer selling it.

If he no longer sells it, could you suggest to him that he could have the set printed-on-demand through CreateSpace www.createspace.com or Lulu.com www.lulu.com ? I think there are a lot of us BARs (and younger rocketeers who are interested in the history of the hobby) who would happily purchase the sets of the "Rocketeer Collector's Journal."

I sent Danny an email this eve to check status of his journal. Once he responds, I'll post back here. Hopefully it is still available or if not (as Blackshire suggested) he can have additional copies printed 'on demand'.

Yes, I plan on doing the same myself right away. Danny didn't say how many 'sets' he still had left, but I really do not want to miss out on a full set of the originals.

I just wanted to add that the Collectors Journal is a Gem. It would be cool if he could continue in some form or fasion. Even if it was just in a Blog format.

Thank you again for the Journal :)

Perhaps it could be scanned in pdf and sold that way, maybe for less.
Than if anyone wanted a hard copy, they could just print it.
Originals would be sweet, but the info should not be lost.
I would like a set, but pdf copy would be fine with me.
It's the contents that's has value to me.
