I started this back in May of 2001. With a little luck, I'll find time to finish the project this weekend. It still needs a final sanding, priming, painting and decals. 75% of the work has been completed since last Saturday night.

that is one of my favorites! Always wanted one when I was a kid.

Is that from a kit, or just a talented representation? If from a kit, who sells them?

I am not yet talented enough to figure that one out from just the plans, but would like to build one sometime.

You can get a clone kit from Pimp Daddy Rocketry; I've heard good things about their K-21 Gemini Titan clone. Here's the link (http://www.pdrocketry.com/rockets/1273.HTM).

Thrustline Aerospace also has an Andromeda clone parts pack - look here (http://www.thrustaero.com/clone_kits.htm). Phred at Excelsior Rocketry has the decals (http://www.excelsiorrocketry.com/) in the "Classic Waterslide Decals" section.

Mine was just figured out from the plans, but if I was going to do it again, I'd definitely go with one of the available kits over winging it from the parts bin. I've never built a Thrustline kit, but I've used their components. The Pimp Daddy kits are nice; like building one straight from the package circa 1978. Unfortunately that includes the recovery system, which is pretty much a throwback. I hate mylar chutes and I've long since moved past the tri-fold cord mount.
