I don't need another gift certificate (assuming the one from the Apollo 7/Saturn 1B build is still good after all this time!), but here I am, checking in.

Hi Carl;

Very appreciative of Semroc's support to our programs here at PSC, and we're looking forward to working with you again this year. I'm sure the busy peak is still in front of you so on behalf of PSC, let me take this opportunity to wish you and the entire Semroc team all the very best for a safe (and relaxing!) Holiday Season, and best wishes for the New Year.

Really looking forward to 2011, and watching/helping this group develop. I have to say, this hobby is much more fun the second time around. :)

Number 29... 29... 29... ;) :D :cool:

(I'm tempted to say something like "Turn me on, dead man," but since backward masking won't make anybody buy anything they don't want to... Unless it's subliminal advertising. :eek: )

Future model idea: A "SAM" missile with SAM membership numbers! :rolleyes:

Who said the numbers are not already in hex? :chuckle: I never did like decimal anyway. Or binary because it wears out two keys and takes more calories and time to input numbers.

Aw, but binary can be so much fun!

Check this out... (http://www.thinkgeek.com/homeoffice/lights/59e0/)

Yes, I have one. Yes I can read it. No, most everyone else in my office cannot (even though we're a tech organization). Some don't get it even after I've explained it to them.

No halter-mounted red (Champion) or blue (Reserve Champion) rosette for me at the Peterborough show, but ranked high enough (#038), perhaps, by Semroc to be in the "commended" category. The last thing I won in a drawing was a box of Titleist golf balls at a firemen's dinner in 1976...maybe my luck will change soon?

What kind of horses do you show? I assume Drafts of some kind. My wife has Appaloosas that she shows here in Texas and surrounding areas. See our web page below.

Interesting... I've looked at your book descriptions but when you mentioned the rosettes and a show I assumed you also had horses yourself.

We have two. One is retired (24+ years old) and lives fat and sassy on a local farm. The other is a young 16-hand blanketed Appaloosa show horse in training that my wife treats like a favored son.

Interesting... I've looked at your book descriptions but when you mentioned the rosettes and a show I assumed you also had horses yourself.I had planned to when I moved to Alaska, and I bought a two-acre parcel before I became disabled. It's just as well that I didn't get horses--having to part with them after I became disabled would have been more painful than I'd care to contemplate.We have two. One is retired (24+ years old) and lives fat and sassy on a local farm. The other is a young 16-hand blanketed Appaloosa show horse in training that my wife treats like a favored son.I hope the breeders are doing something about their eye problems in their later years--whenever I read about old blind horses at equine sanctuaries, they always seem to be Appaloosas. The third eyelid seems to cause them trouble as they get older.
