Vectoraero 'Cuda rocket glider kit - rare OOP

I have an original Vectorearo 'Cuda R/C rocket glider kit. I purchased it directly from the designer, Kevin McKiou, in 1997 (the first year the kit was released). It is still in the original box as mailed to me. It has all the original components, laser-cut parts, and drawings in excellent condition. A rare collectors item, or ready to build!

The kit has been in climate-controller storage for 22 years.

I will ship it to you within the continental US.
The price is $245 including shipping. I could put in on Ebay, but I want to find a nice home for this special kit with a rocketry enthusiast. Last one went for over $320 with shipping on Ebay.

Everything you ever wanted to know about the 'Cuda rocket glider (thanks to George Gassaway):

In the spirit of after-Christmas sales, I've lowered the price for the 'Cuda to $245 including shipping. If nobody contacts me before Jan 1, I'll list it on Ebay. Last one went for >$300 on Ebay.

The 'Cuda kit is still available. Original asking price was $245. Please make an offer. I'd like to see it built by someone who appreciates this classic R/C glider designed by Kevin McKiou. I bought it when it first was introduced in 1997. The kit is complete and in perfect shape.

John,

I suggest you post in RC Groups. Both in the "rockets" section and the glider/sailplane section. That is what I have done when selling some R/C R/G kits on eBay. Most of the top bidders turned out to be from there. Even though I also "plastered" my eBay auctions in various online rocketry groups.

Thanks, George. I just signed up and posted on RC Groups. Waiting for moderator approval.

I haven't listed it on Ebay yet.

Hi - I noticed a few days ago that there’s one on eBay right https://www.ebay.com/itm/254790515068

No relation to the seller, just happened to see it when browsing.

I saw that auction listing as well. It appears to be a pre-production kit according to the description and the included note from Kevin. There were some additional parts and improvements in the production kits. It also doesn't appear to have the full-size drawing set. It's probably more of a collector's kit than a builder's kit.
