Pictures of New 2020 Release Estes Rockets

Recently posted pix of some of the new Estes rockets for 2020. Jesse Ulibarri pointed these out on a couple of rocketry FB pages - originally posted by “Modelrocketguy” who said he had permission from Estes to release them.

I find the LEO Space Train interesting - does that rail and pod structure slide forward to change the CoG so the whole thing glides for recovery? The SST shows yet another repurposing of the Interceptor nose cone. And we can see that John Boren still loves his laser cutter - look at the details on the Lunar Scout.

Well, I see that I’ll be adding to my build pile this winter. That SST is absolutely spectacular.

Looks like QCC Explorer/Conquest style “engine nacelles” under the SST wings. The SST, Space Train, Lunar Scout along with the MAV are on my list!

Low Boom SST and LEO Space Train are the two I want. Any idea when they would be available?

These are completely different and more challenging to Make, but are supper cool being part of a rocket.

More really cool releases from Estes.
Glad it was bought by a real model enthusiast.

The LEO space train nose cone looks like it would be a good starter for an X-34 or X-37B...

Thanks! I've been waiting for some great new rockets to come out, and you and the rest of the folks at Estes have delivered. More for the build pile!!!
