We have had incredible weather here in Colorado in October and now November. I will probably have to water trees again soon, we have had essentially zero precipitation in the past couple months.

I launched rockets with Ed Mitton (Blastfromthepast) here on YORF, and another friend, late last week. I am sure Ed will be linking his blog report on our launch pretty soon. It was around 70°, blue skies, and virtually no wind. T-shirt weather in November is rare.

A C5-3 might not be enough for that first bird.
I'd go with a Quest D or an RMS 18 Aerotech D24

Before I flew the S.D.I. Satellite I wasn't a fan. Now that I've flown it, I'm really not a fan. :( Quite brick-like. Maybe the paint and decals will change my mind.

Looks slightly less aerodynamic than a cinder block or a Winnebago.
