Wish it was that Super Orbital Transport being available on that date instead of this thing.
|
Date available changed to 5/23/22
|
My sources say the New Shepard kit and the Super Orbital Transport kit are supposed to be in the same shipment container. Why the Super Orbital Transport isn't on the website is very strange. Same goes for the B.O.S.S., as Estes is advertising that to hobby shops now.

If they are all in the same shipment container, this makes ZERO sense unless it is their marketing department messing around with a staggered public release.
Going back to USA production would eliminate a lot of this long-lead-time baloney. |
Nope.
Have not seen any online hobby sources showing them as "in stock" or available either. Will grab a Super Orbital Transport once available,. That Blue Origin thing they can keep. That is one is a stunning example of something they produced that falls under the category of "Just because you can, doesn't mean you should". Of all the awesome "bring back" Scale Kits they could have produced such as the K-21 Gemini Titan or Nike Ajax, they give us not one, but TWO, versions of that worthless Piece of JUNK.   |
Scott Branche posted pics of the SOT on Facebook today. He said it will be available shortly.
|
Awesome !
Will grab one as soon as available. Best kit Estes has offered since the 1/100 Saturn 1B re-release. |
Mine came in this past week. Put it in the closet. Working on a SpaceX Falcon right now.
|
Out of stock already on the Estes website.
