Semroc Low (not quite family low) Numbered kits
Unrelated to Bruce's selling of some of the family numbers (001-005), I'm starting to sell of some of my numbered Semroc and Flis. For Semroc, I was typically getting in around #10-#15, so not quite "family" but more like third cousin ;) .
They'll be popping up on eBay over the next few weeks, though if anyone's interested in a particular favorite, drop me a note at chanstevens@gmail.com--I've got every kit ever made in the Carl era. My sellerID is idontdospam, current offerings at https://www.ebay.com/sch/Spacecraft...ssn=idontdospam |

Chan! Good to see you still kicking. What's up? Where are you flying these days, or does the sell off signal a fading amount of interest? |

Definitely not getting out of the hobby, just conceding that my interest in the hobby leans more towards building/flying and less towards collecting/hoarding. Honestly, my building dropped to a trickle because I just don't have room for any more models. I figure if I don't start selling off the higher value clutter, when I die some lucky kid is going to get an Estes Saturn V NARAM-52 edition (only 100 made) personally autographed by Mike Dorffler for $10 because my wife won't have a clue  |
Got any interesting kits from about 1969 to 1980 ?
|
LOL, nothing that far back. My "collection" is really just build queue that's grown out of control, meaning nothing earlier than my BAR indoctrination circa 2000-ish.
|
2000 was the year I became a BAR as well.
Did virtually nothing rocketry from about 1991-2000. Kept all my old stuff back to 1977, but flew only R/C in that era. |
