Braving the cold, the snow, critters and my own creations.

A fun read as usual. Thanks, Bill.

Great launch pics, Bill.
I always enjoy your launch reports.
I especially like the Semroc Defender pics.

Kicking myself for not making the drive! Looks like another good time with the WSRs in SW Ohio!

Awesome to have an otter-roo siting - one downside of our move away from north central Ohio is I miss occasionally seeing the otters at the Clearfork Reservoir on my trail runs.

Thanks for giving it a read. The cold weather really cuts down on content. :D

If I could just get up the nerve to tackle that paint job.

Good time, but things seem to move at half speed when the temps are that low. I think we packed up and left by 4:00. I think I have my cold weather gear dialed in because I was pretty comfortable the whole time.
That was my first otter. Not something I expected to see in the middle of Ohio. Shows what I know.

Otters were reintroduced to Ohio in the mid-80s - they’ve pretty much spread to most of the state. Otters are on the list for seasonal trapping though with pretty strict bag limits.
