Where to get type IIIa Estes parachutes

1 Attachment(s)
Hi All,

I have a PK-18 Estes "orange burst" parachute that I bought sometime during the last 8 years or so but I can't remember where I got it. I was wondering if anybody knows a vendor who makes/sells parachutes like these.

Thanks,

Alan

I have Several of these in orange and white. New some shroud lines NO tape Strips.
I will sell you 3 @ $ 20.00 shipped. Payment can only be USPS MO: NO PAYPAL.
The Parachutes will ship by USPS in a 1st. Class Envelope.
Let me know if interested. Neal

I have (1) 18” orange and white like that and (1) 12” red and white like that that you can have. The red and white has shroud line and tape dots. The orange and white does not. Both of these parachutes are old and neither of them have been cut out.

PM your mailing address to me if you would like either or both of them.

Hi! What is meant by "Type IIIa" in the thread title? I've never heard this term.

It's a way some Estes historians have classified different eras of parachutes. Here's a thread that discusses it.

I've owned my '65 Dart for over 30 years now. It has a 225 slant six and is actually pretty quick off the line. More importantly, it's never let me down or left me on the side of the road :)

Why give the man a hard time? He does not need you or your thoughts on his motor. Go build another rocket.

I can understand "Max-Wedge", "Six-Pak", or the obvious "Hemi", but not the biggest TURD engine they ever made.

Ever considered stamp collecting, GH? I'm sure that your incisive commentary would be appreciated elsewhere.

I was exposed to the go fast world when I was young. Now in my sixty's I have no interest.
All I would like to have now is an Electric Bike to ride the trails here in Highland County.
Years ago my uncle Adam who owned a heavy equipment company had a 1966 Dodge van,
he call it the banana wagon. He could of drove anything that he wanted to, but he drove that van for all most 20 years. It was loud, cold and uncomfortable. My uncle, my father and myself
went hunting for years in that van. That was when men were men .

If it's not fast, it's not worth owning. EVERRRRR.
