You're right....that one does not come up too very often at all. Last night after it was listed it quickly jumped from it's original listing open price of $.99 cents to over $100 in no time at all. The kit was offered by Centuri only one year in their 1971 catalog. I don't suspect the number of surviving kits is all that high, comparatively speaking.

In my seven years or so of ebay rocketry purusing, I've seen this one come up only a few times and I've only been successful in snagging one. I suspect this one could go for the $250 to $300 range.

The same eBay lister also has a few interesting older Estes kits (Ranger, Sandhawk) as well as an old wooden Tilt a Pad still bagged.

Good deal on starter sets here, if anyone is in need. Fair shipping as well.

Not so much a deal as an interesting set of listings. The link below is to one of 5-6 vintage Centuri catalogs going back to '66.

The 'interesting' part is that in the description of each it states "From Semroc private collection". The seller has a Wendell, NC address.

Anyone know who this might be?

That is Bruce at Semroc selling those catalogs. I'm not sure why he's using his other businesses store vs creating a Semroc store to sell that stuff though. Maybe Carl created a Semroc store on eBay already but didn't record the password anywhere?

Looks like I underguessed on this Centuri Eggcrate auction. Final price was $462.

This seller has (had) some decent prices.

I picked up a sealed Nike-X for $24.95 plus a fair shipping rate.

I really like those MRC Concept II kits (good value)...........he has a Standard ARM for $24.95.

I hate to pass this up, but I'm a little short at the moment. You guys feel free to crank the bidding up.

A Bit of Everything

Not so much a 'deal' per se, but certainly an interesting lot of 'stuff'. I see some Estes, Centuri, CMR, FSI, and some MPC stuff in this pile.

Also, two Cineroc boxes, though the lister says "one good camera". Not sure if that means one box is completely empty or contains a damaged camera, etc.

Anyway......at the very least will be interesting to see what attention this listing gets, but if you are in the market for a lot of vintage tubes and nosecones, this grouping may be of interest.

Oh: And one box marked "Ace" down the side. Wonder what that could be?
