WANTED: MPC Minijet Motors 13mm B3-anything

2 Attachment(s)
Hello folks. I recently purchased a bunch of MPC kits on eBay and noted that their B3-5 Minijet motors were recommended. I've seen these talked about in forums here in the past. I would give my eyeteeth to pick up a couple of packs of these to use in these rockets. I would gladly buy or trade. I have a couple of rare packs of Canaroc engines (one pack of 18mm, one 24mm) as trade bait. I realize that most of these motors are probably held by collectors, so if you have multiple packs in your collection and wouldn't mind trading a couple of packs, I would trade the Canaroc engines for them. Would also be interested in some B3-3 and B3-0 if those are available.

Please PM me.

I just checked my stock.
I thought I still had some loose ones but do not.
I will sniff around my contacts and off-site stash of my childhood home for you.

Not sure if you are aware, Centuri produced B4-xm 13mm motors also.

Thanks, GH. Sure, Centuri B's in 13mm would be great too. I also have found some other older MPC 18mm motors as well that I could trade.

Anybody else??

There are 13mm Apogee Medalist motors out there too.

IMO, good luck getting it back on a mini B motor. OTOH, all of the MPC Minirocs kits were T-15 based. These days, I tend to use a maximum motor size of a 1/2A in minimum-diameter mini motored rockets.

Thanks, Mike. I have a huge launch field and have only ever lost one rocket, and that was an ill-advised launch on a day that I knew was too windy. I can get away with an A on BT-5 sized rockets no problem. But I would definitely use a streamer with the B Minijet (provided I'm lucky enough to get a few).

No luck so far, unfortunately.
My other stash didn't have any either, and my buddy most likely to have some does not.
I'll keep sniffing around though. Any I'm able to find will likely be loose motors though.

I have a stash of Centuri B4-3ms. I don't know how to get a few to you, though. Unless you know a Bong flier to act as mule.

Thanks, GH. Your efforts are appreciated. Loose motors are fine............I want to burn them.
